Արարատ [Ararat] is a dormant volcano consisting of Greater Ararat (Masis on Armenian) and Little Ararat (Sis).
Widely known as the resting place of Noah's Ark, Mount Ararat is regarded as the principal national symbol of Armenia and is featured on the country's coat of arms.
